The award-winning wines are an integral part of Krauthaker wine offers and proof of its quality and a good incentive for this valuable product to be recognized not only in Croatia but also on the world wine scene.
The Challenge International du Vin was held for the 35th time in Bourg (Bordeaux, France) on 8 and 9 April 2011. During the competition, 4,624 wines (still and sparkling wines, mistelles, and grape brandies, all from vintages that are already bottled) from 35 countries were judged by 768 tasters, including people from the wine industry and consumer-connoisseurs, with 146 attending on both days.

Once the winning wines had been analysed (to check compliance with standards), the official list was announced on 15 April.
Croatia submitted 7 wine samples, and took away one gold medal, one silver, and one bronze. Krauthaker Graševina (Beerenauslese 2009) won the gold medal, Krauthaker Sauvignon Vidim 2009 picked up the silver and wine Posip SUR-LIE 2009 Krajačić Winery was awarded a bronze medal.
