Of vibrant straw-yellow colour with a gentle greenish nuance, at first quite discrete on the nose, later more open, interspersed with fruitiness pronounce through locally grown white drupes with a touch of citruses. Contains a floral nuance (bright flowers) and a trace of vegetation.
Hints at delectation (unfermented grape sugar) on the palate, continuously balanced by specific mild bitterness, with good body and floral, delicious and bitter finish.
Serve at 10 to 11 degrees Centigrade.
Croatian wine producer Krauthaker has won two medals at the international Merlot competition Mondial du Merlot 2011 held in Lugano, Switzerland in November.
